Default Do I have to draw a tag in 751, Colorado?

I got invited to go elk hunting this upcoming fall in unit 751 for the first achery season and I my friend said you didn't have to draw for a elk tag here. i'm from texas and was just curious what you guys knew.

It's OTC for bull and cow stickthrowers. Good luck, it's nice country, I used to work there.

Default colorado elk hunt

Patriot15, have you been on the CO div of wildlife website? It has all the information you need on Elk hunting in CO. Lots of good info there and phone numbers to DOW offices if you need to ask specific questions.

unless you've been spoiled with success for elk, I'd always take a chance to chase elk...

I think I've been on 4 elk hunts? 2 real ones....1 was guided...all were fun, no success on any of them yet...going again this year more than likely, might be after a cow though, or just helping out on another guys hunt...
