CO Governor's elk tag

Once again the Colorado Wildlife Federation (CWF) has the CO Governor's elk tag to be given away in a raffle. The tag allows elk hunting in any unit in CO, during any open season, with any firearm. (Yes, you can hunt elk in the high draw units with your rifle during archery season....if you want to) This year, the winner of the tag will also win a $1,000 gift card to Cabelas. Only 1,250 tickets were printed & we can not print any more. The raffle tickets are less than the cost of a CO elk hunting license. For tickets, or more info, visit www.coloradowildlife.org

It is good in any hunting area in Colorado provided the season is open and you hunt by the method specified for that area.

You're partly right, Gamblinman. It is good in any area in CO provided the season is open. However, you may hunt with your muzzleloader or high power rifle during archery season.
