Default Hunting Beanie

What's the best hunting beanie on the market? I'm looking for a light wt one that will wick the moisture away and then when I get to my hunting spot switch over to my warmer hat.

Seems like I sweat way too much to wear the same hat all day so I was looking for one like under armor artic beanie. Many say it's too small, etc. Any suggestions. Thanks

Underarmor makes a great camouflage beanie for that purpose. I have a black one I wear out day to day, and a camouflage one for hunting. It is not small, I have a normal sized head and it fits perfect. Maybe you have some huge melon head, it might not fit.

Here is a link to it at Cabela's. Plenty of people sell this beanie, I just wanted to find a link with a good picture and description for you.

Out of all the beenies I've ever tried, including the Under Armor beenie, this is my favorite. Only downside for me is I'm not a huge fan of the camo pattern but very warm and comfortable for me.

I have a lightweight beanie that is made out of merino wool. This beanie is very light yet still warm when it gets wet.
You might consider looking for a lightweight merino wool beanie for the walk to your stand, then switch to a heavy weight wool or polartec after you get settled into your stand?

I just use one of the full face balacava (sp?) when I am walking in. It is thin enough to not make my head get to wet and then when I am sitting I put the thicker hat on.
