Default A few pictures from scouting

We took some pictures from this year's trip I thought you all would enjoy.

A couple of smaller bulls all by themselves.

a nice bull looking for some ladies

A small bull following the big guy

A big one we got to bugle

Big body but smaller rack

A real tank. I would take this one any day.

Almost 2 for one bullet...too young and foolish

Another nice one a day before we could hunt

No mulie tags...bummer

This one would be worthy of burning a tag..

The three of us brought back a 5X5 bull and 2 mature cows. It was a great hunt with less pressure than we have seen in the other 3 years we hunted there. All told between the scouting week and the hunting week we saw about 25 bulls ranging from rag horns to wall hangers. Not all the elk were on the open hunting property but many were close and often wander from one mountain range to another. We couldn't hunt where my bud's cabin is but the next property has 17,000 acres and it is open.
