Talking My sept maine moose

Shot my Moose 29 Sept. We were hunting in Zone five north woods of maine. I shot it with a hand loaded 200gr accu bond from a 30-06. The Moose was 850lbs and the antler spread is 54". Took us a couple hours to get it in the truck, it was great!

Congrats To you !!! Only if I will be so lucky on my October Moose hunt in zone 19... I have been watching a few big ones as well as a few smaller ones.. Any bull will due seeing how they have already rutted though.. I have a trail cam watching one area that a big bull was rutting in. He cleared an area on around 100 feet square of small bushes as well as to large scrapes. That camera is aimed at the scrapes to try and capture the time he has been hitting them.. Again Congrats on your moose.. and what a rack for a Maine moose...
