Default 7mm for black bear

i have a trip planned. normally bow hunt. but i broke my humerus in three places. forced to use a gun. 7mm with 150 grn coreloc any oppinions?

As a bow hunter, I think you'll do just fine with that 7MM (corelok ??).

You will do just fine with both that caliber and that bullet.

Is shot this one back in '02 w/ a Savage 7mm Rem Mag & 150gr. Remington Corelokt bullet. He never took a step. Tipped the scales field dressed @ 325lb.

Will work fine, just make sure you are using a good bullet that will hold together. I had a friend shot one with that round and a cheap bullet, we found the bear but it was a tough job. The bullet fragmented badly and had no exit wound. Good luck!!
