Default 2009 Manitoba Bear Season

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum so bear with me if i break some rules

My 2009 season turned out to be the best yet, first my 14 year old son shot a great bear that green scored over 18 1/2" and after letting the bait settle down for a couple of weeks i saw many great bears and while i was waiting for a monster that i have on my trail camera (have almost 4000 bear pics from this spring alone on trail cams) on the last day, last hour of the hunt a great bear walked in and i let an arrow fly, he green scores 19 12/16"

Thanks Jake!!

Here's my stepson's bear in 2007 from the same bait, died within a couple of yards of where my son's died this year, a little bloody, in all the excitement didn't do a great job a cleaning it up for pics.

Here's a video of my Son's bear, the first thing you'll notice is that i got soooooo excited that i forgot to push play when it was time to shoot!!!
we actually thought this bear was too small so we sat and watched it for some time and got some great video of it, finally realized that it was a good bear and he made a great shot with my trusty old 30-30.

just bought a great new Sony video camera that takes great HD video, doesn't look the greatest on YouTube but really takes nice video
