Default Jay's 2009 Utah Bear

After 7 weeks of hard hunting Jay was able to take this great Utah Boar. Congratulations on a great bear. Thanks to everybody who helped. I hope everybody enjoys the picture.

He weighed about 400 pounds. We didn't get a measurement on him but Jay was real happy with him. I am sorry that I did not have my tape with me on the mountain. He green scored 19.5. A good representation of the species for sure.

Very nice!!!

I live in Utah and I've never hunted bear at all but I'm really starting to get the bug. I run into them from time to time elk and muley hunting and it seems like encounters are getting more frequent for me.

I think here in the next year or two I'm going to have to try and chase them. Problem is I would have no idea how to go about it.
