RE: Moose on the Loose
I've never understood why lower 48 game agencies get so excited about moose in town. When I lived in MT the FWP would go so batty whenever a moose wandered into town you'd think that Bullwinkle was trying to smuggle nuclear weapons components to Iran. Here in Alaska we have moose all over the urban areas and there's rarely ever anyproblem with them being aggressive. I saw three moose right in Fairbanks yesterday and that was no big deal. No game wardens, tranquilizer darts, or transport trailers necessary. Just give them a little bit of a wide birth, leave them be, and they'll eventually wander off.
