I was not expecting to be drawn this year as I was drawn last year and with no preference points I only had 15% odds based on last years numbers, but I was lucky enough to be drawn for a general elk tag again this year!!

Need to start planning for September!

npaden CONGRATS on getting drawn I gotta wait until July 10th to see if I get a antelope license. Did you get a elk last year?

Unfortunatly, no WY Elk tag for me again this year

Yeah, I got a decent 5x5 on opening morning. Not a monster by any means, but it was my first bull elk and I was pretty happy with him.

My Dad and brother drew an elk tag this year with max. points. This will be their first time elk hunting. They told me I need to go also, to show them my honey hole!
