My 2008 Elk Hunt

Took this 9 to 10 year old Bull.....He was laying on the road in the morning. 50 yards away....dam Im lucky

What state? Looks like a 5x5? he's 9-10? isn't that an old elk? is he on his way down then?

Im in Idaho...ya he was an old bull his neck was 34 inches and from eye to nose was 12 and a half inches

Ya your missing out if you dont....theres nothing like it. There a big animal, he weighed around 900 to 950 we figured on the hoof

Congrats, that is a bull to be proud of. And lucky. Next year for me, doing an archery elk hunt. Can't wait, not getting here soon enough.
