Default Filled My Idaho Mule Deer Tag This Weekend.

I filled my Mule Deer tag with a nice 26+ incher. A good buck for the area I was hunting. Only bad part was for the first time ever I blew a horn off with my second shot when trying to finish him, but the taxidermist can fix it, and the freezer is starting to fill, so it could be worse. It was also the first taking of a big game animal my cousins kid was in on so that made it even more fun, I have to find him a nice whitetail next.

Here is a pic my comedic friend and his father took while I was looking for the horn I blew off. They used a shed they happened to have handy. I didn't think it was as funny as they did.

Congrats! Nice buck. One of my buddies tried to finish off a bull I had down and blew a chunk off his antlers. It kind of pissed me off and it cost me an extra 75 bucks at the tax. Good thing is, it still looks perfect today. Once again, congrats on your buck!!!

That's awesome! I shot one of the horns off my first mule deer buck! What is it with us Idaho boys?
