WI Zone B Bear Hunting

With just 10 days left in the 2008 season there are still a lot of unfilled tags. So if you have one to fill and would like to try running with hounds give us call. Below is a pic of a 300lb bear we treed last weekend for a guy that got passed on for being to small.

How did you get a scale that far up in the tree?

Well we that when we climb up to check the sex. It's a newbie ritual to tickle the balls if any.

Seriously, That is obviously jsut an estimated weight from years of expeirience. Normally I end up a little on the low side.

I seriously didn't know you could run bears with hounds in Wi. Last Sat. I was North of Birchwood southbound and there was a good looking young hound in the road, shorthly thereafter the owner scooped him up. Would be fun!
