Default Tule Elk

New to hunting and my favorite game of all time is the Elk. Has anyone hunted the Tule Elk? More specifically on the central coast of California. Thanks.

scouted there for them, never got out to hunt though. Where do you hunt in the central coast?

It will be the hardest tag to ever draw. I know the zones very well and have found them through out this State.
But drawing a tag is nearly impossible.
Big Horn Sheep is even worse.
I'm maxed out on points for both.

Good Luck.

can non-res' draw a tag now? I believe they use to not be able to, but unsure about nowadays.

I figure if I ever want to hunt them, it'll be through an outfitter, just buy a tag etc....due to the odds being so poor if non-res' can even draw a tag.

I did read about the WR taken fairly recently, last couple years....
