I am looking to network with other Montana Hunters. Posted this in the regional forum, and deer hunting as well. Trying to reach as many as I can!

I'm heading to Montana, Sept. 3rd and staying till the 20th, for my first elk hunt. It is only for a cow but am super excited to finally beable to see and hunt in the mountains.

Tags, tags, everywhere I have tags!Must start cutting firewood to be able to focus on hunting ASAP. Been scouting and seeing many elk and some nice whitetail bucks. Hurry up season and get here. I can't wait anymore.

Cows only cause that is the only tag I can get. We didn't all draw our bull tags actually only one of us drew a bull so the other 5 of us are going for cows on public land. I definitely would rather have had a bull tag but this is a first trip for all of us so we will take what we can get.
