Default First Bear pic of '08

I gained permission to hunt my fiancee's grandmothers 100 acres last year and only hunted it during rifle season for deer last season. Her parents who also live on the land have been complaining about a ton of coyotes that run the property. I set up my Stealthcam IR-1540 over a bait bucket to try and see how many coyotes and what time they were there so I could hunt them. This was the first time using my new Stealth Cam and as far as pic clarity I was impressed. I only left it out 2 days up there because I plan on takin it to my deer spot an hour away later this week. This was the only pic and even tho its not an absolute monster bear I was still excited. I plan on gettin more cameras in there and bear hunting it as well as deer this year.
Any guess on size or weight???

Nice looking bear. Hard to tell the size, but I am guessing high 100lb range. nice looking pic.

Seehow long the legs look and the big ears. Its definately a smaller one. I think Western MA Hunter is right on with the 100lb area. But theres got to be a brute out there somewhere. Good luck to ya and nice pic.

With the narrow head and the size of ears I would say 180 pounds...nice bear!!
