Default Canadian success !!!!

Well, I connected on a big Sow. This bear was the biggest taken so far at Larson Lake Outfitters in Spiritwood Saskatchewan.

I shot this bear out of the same stand that Russ Thornberry filmed his giant bear harvest on Buckmasters TV. Our story and pics will be on the Buckmasters Website in a few weeks. Keep you eye out for it.

Here is a pic of our hunting group that all connected on bear with Kim Tiringer (owner of Larson Lake Outfitters, pictured second from Right) This Bear pictured was harvested by Jim (pictured 3rd from Left)

Here is a pic of me and my guide Blaine Tiringer (Blaine shot the largest whitetail in 2006 which scored over 250" and is the 12th largest whitetail ever taken. He took me to his house to see the brute in person.

Blaine harvested this giant with his 30.06 rifle. Blaine has shot all of his 190+ whitetails with this rifle, I know of at least 4 whitetails scoring over 190" that Blaine has shot. I guess he was on the cover of Buckmasters Magazine in 2006. At the lodge he had last years rack just laying on th porch which scored 190". I asked him if he was going to get it mounted, but he wasnt sure yet, he kept the cape from the deer though. He said once his son gets old enough to use a rifle, he is going to retire his 30.06 to him.

I've watched Russ Thornberry's show and seen so many of these huge deer and elk that he seems to get so close to easily and often wondered if they were fenced or free range. I like Russ had dinner with him a few years back great guy.
