I just received a call from an outfitter in New Brunswick, who has had a cancellation for the week of June 8. Before I go any farther I must state I HAVE NO business affiliation; nor do I receive any type of compensation from this outfitter. He is simply someone our group has hunted with the last seven years, and has become a friend. Our group of six has been 100% shot opportunity for seven years running. We have taken Bear weighing 358, 402, and 435 the last three years alone. All of these animals were weighed on DNR scales. The operation is family run and only accepts a max of 6 hunters per week. Individual attention is at a premium. The outfitter was a former member of the PSE Canadian team, so archery is his specialty; although gun hunters are welcome. He has been guiding for bear for 20 years, and knows his stuff! The accommodations are very very nice, the food is fabulous, and they truly care about each hunters success and satisfaction. The hunt is in zones 7 & 8 in Northern NB. Approx. 4-5 hours North of Houlton Maine. Our group is scheduled to be there the last week of May"¦again for our annual trip. He advised me those interested can assume deposits and the cost of the hunt would be $1100 a person. Folks this is a smoking deal for a really solid hunt!
