Mule Deer rifle/backup?

.243win/6mm rem, .270 win, .300 win mag.

Of these rounds, which would you take as your primary mule deer rifle? which would you bring with as a backup?

I have taken over 2 dozen Mule deer with my .243 and have found it to be excellent medicine for everyone of them.I would choose the .270 for my back up since it is a fine deer/speed goatgun as well.

I would take the 270 as my primary but then I would take the 243 as the back up there is no need for a magnum on mule deer.

I would take the 270. You could just flip a coin, mule deer are not hard to kill.

Mule deer is mostly all we hunt in western Neb. IMO take the .270 and back up with the .243.

what if you plan a big hunt, and something happens to your rifle? Your out the time off work, the money for the hunt....and unless you can stalk and spear hunt mule deer, then your also out a mule deer. Always pays to have a backup.
