Are you on range? If so which one? I hunted the Stallion a few years ago. it's a great hunt. Ask away I'll try & answer as best I can. CB

I have nothing to offer in the way of information so I'll just say good luck. I myself really want a Ibex tag in the Floridas.

No cameras, no beer or booze, wear your orange vest at all times. On the Stallion Range I liked the foothills to the east.

From what I hear/read/people I've talked with, its like shooting fish in a barrel, pretty certain you could DIY no problem.

They were introduced into New Mexico by the DOW back in the late 60's or early 70's.

salukipv1------You heard wrong. It's a hunt--not a shoot. It is a DIY hunt---you can't scout, you only have access to the Missile Range for 2 days.

I've talked to quite a few guys who have hunted them, DIY, also that hunt I believe has almost 100% success rate. On top of that I believe now you have to goto a prehunt meeting about the rules of the base etc...and I believe they give some advice as well.

Of course its a hunt, just not as tough as other hunts, from what I've heard/read/found out.
