Craitchky / Riphunt would you care to share that feedback on Estes outfitters? I've been looking for a trip myself. I've looked at Winterhawk the most, spoke to about 10 references listed on thier web site. Got positive feedback from everyone, seems like a first class operation. Also at the top end of the price range. Was looking at Bar H outfitters also, again looks like a first class set up, high shot opps and success rates. Prices up there with Winterhawk.

Good luck with whoever you choose.

I went on a guided rifle hunt last year with Wapiti Ridge Outfitters in Wyoming. Can't say enought about these guys, it was great. They are more expensive then the outfitters you mention but I think you have a better shot at a trophy elk with Wapiti Ridge. It's 15 miles back on horse and in rugged territory. Good luck.

Hi,

I just booked a hunt at Battlement Mesa outfitters. I have some friends who say it is top notch.
