Default Last big game hunt of the year

I went out with a bang on Saturday. I shot four does, the guys I work with shot four more. It was a good end to fun year of big game hunting. Now the wait for next year begins.

Dang where do you hunt at?? How many deer a year can you shoot?? I would love to be able to feed off of venison all the time like that.

Those deer were all shot on private ranches in Sheridan county. You can buy 4 type 7 additional doe/fawn tags for the area I hunted, meaning you can shoot 5 deer total if you also get a full-price general or special draw tag. I prefer elk meat, but we had some bad luck elk hunting this year so venison will have to do. I can only think of one year in my entire life that we had to buy a beef because the freezer wasn't full of game.

They're all field dressed. That's why there's blood all over. You can even see where the sternum has been split on a couple of them.

Congrats, I was planning on heading up there with a couple doe tags and a left over white tail but didn't have the time. I did get to shoot a cow elk on thanksgiving and still have a late season cow tag, but it looks like your set!!!
