Just caughtone of the last weeksof the Montana deer season with Trophies West Outfitters. All I can say......... Wow! Lots of deer, nothing huge but the weather was definately a factor. Or shall I say the lack of weather was a factor. There was only one day that you could actually see your breath in the morning. We ended up making it work though. 5 of 6 guys got deer, all had chances. We almost had two more swing and miss. I was one of those. The other was my buddies dad (Kurt). I shot my buck with 40 minutes left in the hunt, Kurt shot his with 5 MINUTES LEFT. Ended up shooting 3 bucks on the last day. All in all, one of the best trips I've been on with some of my best friends. No drama, just fun and good times. First deer pics are of Brad and his last day deer. Great management buck 4x3. Old deer with a bit of character. The last is mine. The biggest Mule Deer I've personally ever shot. Scores int he 160's and is very heavy. Most impressive was the size of this deers body. He was deeper in the chest than I am wide across the shoulders. That buck was well over 250#'s. Check out
