Had 2 bow hunters make it back a couple of weeks ago from their Unit 9 NM archery elk hunt we set them up on. They started their hunt out with a little rifle antelope hunting and after they tagged out on their antelope they loaded up the outfitter's truck and headed for some archery elk hunting in unit 9. The hunters told me they were absolutely covered up with elk and both tagged their bow elk in the first 2 days. I haven't gotten the pictures from the outfitter yet just these our hunters sent to me. This was especially satisfying for me because the hunters told they had really gotten burned extremely bad last year in Colorado by an outfitter so I was really wanting them to have a good hunt. No B&C's but nice solid 250 + class 5x5's and they were thrilled with them.
