Pack animal fees

About had enough this past weekend when three of us packed out a cow Elk 3.5 miles. Must be old but it was no fun. Started at 11,600 and the truck was down at about 9600. My feet are toast. I founda guy that will rent horses for $325 a week w/ or w/o tack, but I have to pick em up and bring em back. Any of you know of some folks Walden, fort collins, estes park area that might bring a few out after a call? If I would have had a bull tag for the Bull I saw I would have been in deep stuff.

You might try Sombrero Ranches.They rent horses all over the state, will bring them & pick them - $400/week includes tack. You'd have to search the internet for the number. There are others I've found depending on where you are who will pull an elk out for you for$150-200.

sombrero would be great just don't fast tie the horses to anything they spook easy. (I worked for them for 8 months)
