Me and my buddy back in the garage with my cow
greatpics/shed. Did you carry it out? Last year in Grande Prairie I saw a few cows on my moose hunt, so i put in for one. Should have it in a couple more years. Nice elk, congrats!
Yep i tied it to my bag. Just another ornament in the garden at home. Good luck with your cow draw, i get drawn almost every year but if i dont i just buy a general bull tag.
A general bull elk tag means that i can shoot a bull elk anywhere in alberta where there isnt a draw needed but in all places there is an antler restriction, and its either 3 points or better or 6 points or better.
Thats in 312 but thats all private land and the rancher only lets us on there so we are pretty lucky to have soo much land too hunt and not have to worry about other hunters.

I think I've said this before but, I love the finish on that rifle you got there. What is it again??
Its a Mossberg 30.06. All i did was sanded the old finish right off so i had bare unfinished wood again then on the checkering i took a brush and dabbed the paint into it then with very fine sand paper i lightly sanded it untill all the checkering was showing again. Then on the the black tip i just taped it off and re painted it on then i just coated it all with 5 coats of crystal varathane and i love it.
