Kentucky Elk Tag?

been putting in since they started it......still strikin out every year. O well, who needs to kill a big stinkin elk anyway!

No cigar here either..My uncle put in too and he got skunked.He is a ky resident too.

Struck out here also, but its hard to pass up the chance.

ten bucks a year is a small price to pay to hunt elk here in the home state, and from what i understand, there are very high success rates and some real brutes when it comes to bulls.

being a resident doesn't help your odds the way i understood it tho.

Yep, they said they were expecting some more B&C bulls to be taken this year. It's the fastest growing elk herd in the east with more tags issued each yearand the highest success rate in the country.Will try againnext year.
