That would be sweet music to my ears. I bet it is cool at daylight also. I'll have to sit in front of anAC vent and put on a tapeto even get close! Deer season starts here in 2 weeks and it's in the 80"s and 90's with high humidity, chiggers, mosquitoes, no-see-ums, fire ants, and snakesto share your hunt with. I'll be waiting till cooler mornings at least. Wish I was there!

That's awesome, Do you have a wolf problem up your way? After years of wanting to hunt Idaho,Ifinally gotto go to the Selway and couldn't find a single elk.Saw 2 sets of elk tracks, maybe 5 or 6 deer tracks, 1 moose, and aherd of goats on one rock outcrop. We hunted for many miles. Locals said the wolves were to blame because whena packmoves into an area, the other critters leave.

Yeah, the wolves are are more in unit 6,7,8,9,10 the havent made it across the river or across I 90 but I did see one wolf by himself and he was lanky so he was kicked out from a pack, and didnt look like he was able to hunt to well by himself.......next time I see him he'll be in my crosshairs...............
