me and some buddies are going down to SC for 5 days starting Aug 15th to hunt bucks while they are hpofully still in velvet. As far as I know this is the only place to fair chase hunt velvet deer with a rifle (you can use a bow too).
Anyway we can have 10 in the logde and only have 5 going at this time. Northwoods Adventures TV from the Sportsman's channel will be there and trying to get as many hunts to tape as posible. the outfitter is getting 1,100 for 5 days with meals and lodging. If you bring 1 child and will hunt together, thier hunt and license are free. I have been there for 3 years and had a great time every year. You can pm me here or e mail me
