Headed to NB

Well next monday I am headed up to New Brunswick with the wife and spud. Its the first time in 5 years I am not spring bear hunting. This year I am going to get the wife on tape. She has been all fired up to hunt bear. I have her shooting a 12 ga with 2 and 3/4 slugs. Does anyone else have any other suggestions for gun. She is about 5 foot 9 and 140lb. she seems to be shooting well, but I am still oen to suggestins.
