Default Elk in Idaho

I'm looking for a little Info on the early archery season in the area of the East Fork of the Salmon. I've hunted AZ and Co alot but have never had the chance to get into Idaho. If you can help with any info that would be great.... I'm not asking for you to tell me about get lost canyon or no tell emcreek. Just what to expect as far as hunting pressure and terrianor any general info would be a great help..

Thanks in advance..

As far as human pressure, you shouldn't see much, as far as wolf hunting pressure in that area, you will definately have some!!!! Tough hunting there with the steep hills............

I think a trip to British Columbia or Alaska to pop a couple wolves would be most rewarding.
Too bad we can't do the same in Idaho to give the elk a break.... but no.

What's ETA? Do you mean it'll be in effect in 2008? If that's the case, at least they have some sort of date set, just less than a year won't be too bad, just one more season without wolf hunting.

ETA means Estimated Time of Arrival. So Jan of 08 is just an estimate.
