Default ThermaCell

Does anyone have any experience with these ThermaCell's and bear hunting with a bow? I know they say they are odorless but how do they repell if they are?? Would really like to not have to use a bug suit but dont want to take any chances. Thanks in advance.

seems to work here but, i have not asked a deer, hog, or turkey if they smelled it.

they work great for me as well. I use them a lot when I'm videoing deer on my scouting trips. Sure keeps the skeeters away

I bought a ThermaCell last year and never needed to use it. But they are pretty thick in the fields as well as the woods. I have been using mine to go mow out by the woods and around the equipment and it has been awesome. No Skeeter bites on me, but I have no idea about if animals can smell it.

You could always use your ThermaCEll and get a ThermaScent to mask it

I see this questioned posted a lot. Have your outfitter if using one or you if not put it in your stand a few times so the bears are used to the smell if it indeed produces one.

The guide we are hunting with in Manitoba strongly reccomends the Thermacell. He calls it the best thing to happen to spring Bear hunting.

They are a gift from god. Thermacell sponsors our show so we give one to every guide we hunt with. They were so high in demand after the first night of bear camp, the outfitter bought $1,500 worth. No lie.

PS. We all got bears with a bow that week and never felt the bears paid it any mind.
