Default Ran one down Sat.

Got a nice bear Sat. 7mm ..glassed him from across the canyon and went to him. shot him at 45 yards. Both shoulders KO shot, dumped him in his tracks.

Boar, 6ft from nose to base of tail.

Fatty, probably right around300 live weight..

Great bear, not a bad way to start off the spring.

thanks fellas, this bear is a spitting image of the bear I took in the exact same "glade" 2 years ago.. looks like his son, same white star on his chest.. the 05 spring bear was a foot longer and a 100lbs heavier.

I'm interested to see what this one ages at. I have to check him in in the next 10 days..Fish and Game will take a tooth sample ..the 05 bear was aged at 14-16.. I think this bear is probably half that age...
