I read in Outdoor Life that you can expect to pay $40,000 for a 2 weeks polar bear hunt? Is that accurate? Also mentioned something regarding hunting a particular mountain sheep (can't remember which type) in the Cannada that was $30,000. Both sound way out of my price range. Any thoughts.
I'm thinking you are using the term "you" prettylightly!
I guess I could have used "I" or "eye," but realize that I would never likely afford a $40,000 polar bear hunt, so you sounded more appropriate than "I."
It's probably one of the last years that anyone will be able to hunt polar bears if they get listed as endangered as it sounds like they will. The last time I priced a 10 day dogsled hunt in Canada it was $28K and there was a 2 year waiting list, but that was early last year. I wouldn't doubt that they've gone up substantially since then. I wonder how it will effect people's grand slam status if you can't hunt the polar bear any more?
