NH moose hunting

Iam applying for a moose permit this year for NH.I was wondering if anyone on here hutns NH for moose.My aunt and uncle own a island on lake winnipesaukee, Up in the northern part of the lake by greens basin, I think the merideth area.The access rd to there island has a bunch of woods on both sides, and across the street.What i was wondering was what are the chances of moose being in this area?thanks i appreciate it.

Head north man! Stop in to Paugus Bay Sports and talk to JP! He and his brother run a guide service. They do well every year.

Hunt the 20 mile stretch up the Indian Stream Rd all the way to Quebec from Pittsburg. Way more moose than deer and great country. If you can't see moose there you aren't looking.

winnepesaukee? That's where they filmed "What about Bob", I didn't see any moose in the movie, so don't hunt there!
