Default Last Elk Hunt

Went on my last elk hunt of the year yesterday. We had about 30 head within a thousand yards of us for about 4 hours. Sometimes they would get within 100 yards. The only problem is they were on the wrong side of the fence!! Very frustrating!!!! We tried everything to get them to cross over the fence, but it seemed they knew they were safe where they were. Nothing to do, but to start planing for next year!

Thanks for not shooting them regardless of which side of the fence they were on. There are plenty of hunters that don't care.
