After spending a whole week hunting late season mulies, I am sad to say that my snow parka snagged my string and cost me a nice 150 class 3 point. I was getting down to the end and finished the season off with a flat top. It was my farthest bow kill to date though. I would never push taking long shots with a bow, but I was VERY confident after practicing this range. I took her at 62 yards with a nice shot behind the shoulder, She only made it 20 yards after being hit. The 2006 season is now officially over with a bear, antelope, elk, and mule deer falling to sticks. I won't be meat shopping anytime soon.

Great job. I guess now the only thing to do is enjoy the meat, the memories,and the winter and get ready for next season

Hillbilly, you are correct. Cold beer, warm steaks, and lots of spot shooting are now on the menu.

WOW that is awsome. I am still trying to get my first bow kill out here. Been hitting the mountains above mountain home alot, seen some dows but no bucks hope this snow moves them down some. again congrats on the season.
