.........other late season elk hunters on here? My area just opened today, so I'll be heading up Friday afternoon to try my luck. I've always loved hunting the late season.

Our Late season here in Montana generaly dosen't start till Mid-Dec,Jan and Feb for elk(if you draw a permit mostly cow).The general will run till the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
If I can ever get through all pepole showing up at my house for deer hunting I just might get to go elk hunting.Haven't gone since opening day(Oct 22 nd)

the 15th -19th of nov is 4th season in colorado iam going dec 7 in colorado

My dad and cousin have a late season tag Nov 21- Dec 20. I hope they get one cause i ended up hangin my early season tag on the fridge.
