I just wanted to share with everyone my very first Elk I harvested this September. The hunt itslef happened rather quickly once I got to where I wanted to be but the pack out was a different story, there was 5 of us on the trip thankfully because we had to pack it out for 7km's, it was a lot of work but it was well worth it. I had the bull scored shortly after and it scored 240 (not bad for a first one hey!), anyways just thought I would share it with the forum.
Congrats, I hope one day I will be able to go on an Elk hunt also.
