Default My first elk.

I shot this bull on a trip through hunt of a lifetime. I hunted with big canyon outfitters in coalville utah. It was one heck of a trip and I hope to go back again here someday soon. One shot from my 270win at 379 yards and down the hill he rolled. He's no monster but he makes a fine first bull in my opinion. He's a clean 5x5.

Congrats on a fine bull. Very nice.

And the little ole .270 Win keeps on proving time and again that it is a very capable elk cartridge despite what others have to say.
