I stumbled across it when looking for some moose odds in Wyo. It looks like it has some serious potential. They have Idaho and Wyoming odds for all major big game species. Looks like a others states are in the works too.

The moose area close to home shows odds of .23% for a resident!
That's POINT 2 3 PERCENT!
I wonder if they factor in the "leftover drawings" later in the year?
I also have read on the G&F website that 25% of licences area allotted to "random" applications. In other words, first time apps with little or no preference points. It is motivation for the first time applicant to even apply.

I was curious about the Moose stuff as well, so I email them. They mentioned they only use type 1 (bull/buck) numbers only, no leftovers or cow/dow stuff, etc.
They do have 2 sections, one for General draw odds (25% tags) and another for Preference Point odds. The general tags are very bleak, but at least they set a few aside I guess? [&:]
