I was in Alberta last September on a Elk & Whitetail hunt & saw four really nice Black Bears. The area I was hunting WMU 438 has a lot of bears & the outfitter I used does Spring Bear hunts.

Here is there website, ask for Lain Roth. They are first class!

I stongly recommend Old Koots Huntin Camp based out of Edmonton. Great people, great food lots of animals.Really went out of their way for us and to top it off they are reasonably priced. We paid 2500 for 2 bears, wolf, coyote, grouse and fishing. Cant say enough for them.Good luck and happy huntin

anchor d in turner valley

went with them last fall for elk, bear, and muley. great time! first class all the way. i was talking to them about a spring bear next year, and they said they still had some openings for this year i believe.

horseback/spot and stalk in the wilderness

$2000. VERY resonable.

good luck

Hey huntnmuleys im guessin you shot those animals in WMU 312. Thats where i hunt and yah if there is an outfitter in the area i would definitely recommend them because there are lots of animals out that way and hey more bears shot in the area less bears i have to worry about when im out huntin.
