I believe you are refering to what is more commonly known as the 'Super slam'. A "Grandslam' is the taking of all 4 species of N American wild sheep. The Super slam consists of taking one of all
4 Sheep species
all 5 caribou species
2 Elk species
Bison
5 Deer species
1 mountain lion
1 mountain goat
all 4 bear species
all 3 moose species
1 muskox
1 antelope

Some people have argued that Walrus should be added to this list.

I'm maybe a third of the way there!

First of all I'm not sure what the NA 29 is but isn't there 3 species of elk?

Yea you're right Mark, there is at least 3 species of Elk including the Tule elk. I don't know why its not included in the Superslam. But there are several morespecies of whitetail deer, Bison, and even sheep.
I see that B&C even list Jaguar as a N American trophy as well as 2 species of walrus. I'm only guessing but I believe B&C drew the line somewhere, probably ruling that tule Elk, Jaguar etc are not included because of their scarcity and difficulty in being able to hunt them legally.

Thats pretty good! Which ones do you have? I've hunted 8 of them and have 7 of them. With the cost of sheep and polar bear I'm sure I'll never get them all but thats OK, I'm having fun hunting the ones I can.
