The first pic is the elk we got this year. A average size 5x5 elk with a birth defect. The second one was actually from last year and the thing had a 54 inch spread on it. 6x6 whitetipped massive elk and it took about 8 hours to pull it out with a ATV and 4 guys but there was about 31/2 feet of snow on the ground and the other picture was my grandpas first elk. A nice 5x5

Wow, clear back in mid December, I guess it has been a while.

Hmmm, almost sounds like a demonic thing.... being called out by someone.... some might say that is appropriate, heh, heh.

Justhuntitall, I appreciate the request, I really do, but no can do. Those stories with pictures were time intensive to do and that just isn'twhat I'm intonowadays.

In fact, the week/10 days I have been frequenting the old 'hoodhere has been fun, but a bit pernicious, and I think its time to bid you folks farewell for a while and get back ontothe more goal oriented/constructive stuff.

Although there are some familiar faces here, it looks like you've had quite the turnover and the place just don't seem to rock 'n roll like it used to, and ..... I can see my earlier and long-standing complaint of "a never ending supply of $%$@-heads" still appears to be true. Sometimes one has to leave the human condition to just be what it is.

BTW, RedRiver wins the EKM"HammerAward" ForExcellence in Hunting Journalismforhis pointed stick theme. Priceless.

Good luck to all of youthat I now see "carrying the torch."
I appreciate it.
Catch you another time,

EKM
