Default spike calls

Years ago my uncle had a spike elk squeel call at hunting camp, it was a small diamatier metal coil, it seamed to work well, he also had a spike squeal that had a whistle end piece and about eight inches of clear plastic 1 in tubing both worked well to work up a big bull I have been looking to buy either or both of these types of calls, does anyone remember who made these call, or does anyone have them laying around and wants to get rid of them?

Default RE: spike calls

Get one of those long, flexible, plastic straws out of a Maverick mug and mess with it. It'll do the same with some work. A single reed call will do what you want as well and you can squeal, cow call, bugle, or grunt with it too, with a tube.
