NM over the counter Cow tag?

Hey Guys,

I just found out that I am filming an Elk hunt in New Mexico in a couple of weeks. Can anyone tell me if you can purchase a cow elk or an antelope tag over the counter or are they all by drawing. I would love to fill a cooler while I am out there. Thanks for your help. I don't know much about the regs in NM.

New Mexico has land owner tags for sale. The land owner tag is bought from the land owner in the unit you wish to hunt. I do not know much about them?
Do a search for New Mexico game & fish.They will have a list of land owners with tags.
