How many scouting trips do you have planned until opening day?

I will go out at least once each week until bow season opens on the 30th and scout for elk. In the past I don't go as offten but then again I knew the area by heart and this year I am hunting in a new area so I am taking more time to become familiar with it. How about you

I have 3 planned, one last weekend (3 days), another in a couple of weeks (2 days) and one final day of scouting the day before the hunt opens on Aug. 25th.

It's getting soooo close.. it's time to go hunting!

I will not pre-season scout the area I hunt. I know it like the back of my hand. I know where the elk have been in the past. They seem to do the same thing every year. I will stick with what I know & go in blind.

Unfortunately, none. I live too far away to scout preseason (WV). I guess that I will just have to make do with reading about all the scouting going on by the rest of you guys. Thanks
