If you had to choose only 1 type of animal to hunt for what would it be and why?
I choose elk, because I don't think that there is any bigger thrill than having an animal that large answer your call for the first time. I was hooked after just 1 return bugle. It surprised me to hear that big bull answer my call, but I sure was glad it did. Not only did hekeep calling back at me but so did 2 other bulls. What to do now I thought. But, I finally came up with a plan to concentrate on the one that had been calling to me all along.I harvested that bull within the first 2 hours of my very first elk hunt. It was so hard for me not only to breath without hyper-ventilating but I couldn't swallow for that big lump in my throat. I would have swore that he could hear my heart pounding. He was only 20 yards away and I couldn't believe that I had just called him in. After holding my bow at full draw for what seemed an eternity, I finally got to shoot. He went 30 yards and fell. Then the work started.

For me it would have to be moose becasue they are so large and when they are grunting a you... it is meraculious.

moose, you think you'll miss them when they walk by, in the grass or behind some trees and when they walk out BAM bigger than anything around WOW I canpicture them in my head right now
