Got my trophy mulie tag

I checked the Idaho fish and game website today and found that I drew for a late trophy deer hunt. I took two of my friends into that area last year and they both tagged impressive bucks. I will be doing ALOT of scouting this fall for the November 10th opener. The bucks will be all swelled up and heavy in the rut at this time. I gotta go elk hunting soon to take the edge off the need to hunt this hunt. This is lining up to be an awesome season. I will be doing this right after returning from a Nebraska white-tail hunt. Which is preceeded by elk season. Let the games begin.

Well, thats just plain glutenous! [8D] I think you should give me one of those tags. It only seems fair....to me.

I will be hunting in south central Idaho by the Nevada border. The area has 100 tags given each year for this area, with an average of 1800 applicants. The hunt is in one of the Owyhee mountain units.

Paul, you should know that I left a long time ago. In mind that is. My friend from New York is coming out to help me glass. He liked it so much last year that he wants to tag along this year. It should be a good time. My 3-D partner drew on the tag with me. This year is going to be fun filled.

Congrats that one heck of a hunt. I know a few hunters that have drawn in the past couple of years and all killed big bucks.Mostwished they hadn't taged out so soon because they all saw bigger than they killed. I would be very picky!
