Which season is the best for a nice big brown bear with a nice hide????????? What about black bears as well as brown bears???????

The best seasons for a big brown bear in Okhotsky region are spring, especially from the 15th of May till the 10th of June, and autumn - from the 15th of August till the end of September. The best time for black bear hunting is the same there.

Why would you consider brown bear hunting in Russia better than it is in B.C. or Kodiak Island?

Don't you compare other hunting regions of the world, do you? We don't consider that brown bear hunting in Russia is better or worse than it is in B.C. or Kodiak Island or another place, but it is another trophy hunting. There is different species of brown bear in Russian Okhotsky region. If you don't have such trophy in your own collection the hunting we can offer must interest you, I think. There is not much troble to bring firearms into Russia. We legalize Gun permits. To lagalize them we need to know brand of a gun, its calibre, quantity of ball-cartridges one wants to bring into the country, and personal information about a hunter. According the law in Russia the Gun permit can be legalized in 14 days. There are not greater regulations of the government on the brown bear limits and seasons. But only about 50 licenses (permits) may be given for one season. 1 license means 1 bear.
